Keeping your sobriety is hard - and worth it.
We're here to help you make it stick.
Recovery is hard. Even after detox or rehab, the urge to use can still be strong. You might feel overwhelmed by stress, loneliness, or painful emotions that once led you to substances.
Maybe you’re struggling to rebuild trust with loved ones, or you feel lost without the old habits that once defined your daily life, and isolated without the friend groups you used to have that centered around using.
Cravings, triggers, and past trauma can make every day feel like an uphill battle.

Outpatient Addiction Counseling After Rehab
Addiction counseling at Baltimore Therapy Center is outpatient therapy for people who are medically stable and looking for ongoing support with recovery. We are not a detox center, residential rehab, PHP, or intensive outpatient program.
We may be a good fit if you recently completed rehab, are trying to maintain sobriety, are worried about relapse, or are concerned that alcohol or drug use is starting to affect your relationships, work, or emotional health.
If you are in active withdrawal, at risk of overdose, or need medical monitoring, you may need a higher level of care first. Once you are medically stable, outpatient addiction therapy can help you build the skills, routines, relationships, and support system needed for long-term recovery.

Meet With an Addiction Recovery Therapist
At Baltimore Therapy Center, addiction recovery counseling is provided by therapists who understand the emotional, relational, and practical challenges of staying sober. Therapy can help you work through cravings, shame, stress, anxiety, trauma, relationship damage, and the daily routines that either support recovery or put it at risk.
Why Addiction Counseling is Essential for Relapse Prevention
Life doesn’t get all sorted out the minute you walk out of rehab. You’ve got to deal with the people, places, and things that are still there.
There are problems you left behind, relationships that need repair, and triggers embedded in the routines you are used to. You need to make changes that fit your life. You need to work smarter, not harder. Expert guidance is very much needed as you walk down this road.
Living in recovery takes commitment and work, and it takes a network of support to see you through.
Our specialized therapy for people in addiction recovery helps with:
Relapse Prevention
Identify triggers, develop coping strategies, and build resilience.
Rebuilding Relationships
Heal damaged family connections, improve communication, and restore trust.
Managing Cravings & Triggers
Learn how to handle stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges without turning to substances.
Addressing Trauma & Mental Health
Work through underlying trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns that may contribute to addiction.
Creating a Sober Lifestyle
Develop new routines, hobbies, and social connections that support a substance-free life.
